While most people tolerate statins well, there are some potential side effects as with all medications. Most common side effects of Simvastatin reported include muscle pain, aches or weakness.
Very rarely, statins may cause muscle or liver problems. Always inform your doctor if you experience side effects that do not go away and become bothersome to you.
