Both Atorvastatin and Rosuvastatin are moderate-high intensity statins. In terms of effectiveness, Rosuvastatin is more potent than Atorvastatin. Rosuvastatin can result in significantly greater reductions in LDL levels at lower dosages compared to Atorvastatin.
