PROfertil® is a specifically developed health supplement, designed to support fertility and reproduction of men with the desire to have children and to contribute to sperm formation.
It has been found that a combination of specific micronutrients that contain amino acids, anti-oxidants and trace elements can improve sperm quality compared to just a single specific micronutrient.
The effectiveness of PROfertil has been confirmed in clinical studies to improve semen parameters (e.g. sperm count, motility, normal shape). In addition, PROfertil can also reduce DNA breaks in sperm – increasing the chance of a successful conception.
What is in PROfertil®?
There are 3 main components in PROfertil: amino acids, antioxidants and trace elements
1. Amino acids: L-carnitine, L-arginine, L-cysteine
Amino acids are the main building blocks of proteins and the prerequisite for the formation of sperm. Several small studies have found an increase in sperm motility for men diagnosed with poor sperm motility when L-carnitine was taken daily and continuously over 3-6 months.
2. Antioxidants: Vitamin A, Vitamin B9 (folic acid), Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Glutathione, Co-enzymeQ10 and Pine bark extract
Antioxidants have been found to protect sperm from damage and to improve sperm quality. Certain vitamin deficiencies have resulted in male fertility issues and can be improved with supplementation.
3. Trace elements: Zinc and Selenium
Zinc and selenium have been found to play an important role in the formation of healthy sperm. Fluid in the semen is especially rich in zinc. Selenium is also responsible for the maintenance of motility and the structural integrity of the tail of the sperm.
It is important to note that it usually takes 6 weeks to 3 months before supplements take effect. It is also important to incorporate other healthy lifestyles and choices to give your family the best start.

Do all male fertility supplements work?
Other than PROfertil, there are many other supplements for male fertility in the market.
Male fertility supplements are meant to be taken to supplement one’s diet and enhance your wellbeing.
They are not meant to prevent, treat, cure or alleviate symptoms of medical conditions and diseases.
Some manufacturers may include additional non-beneficial ingredients to differentiate their product and/or justify higher price points. Some of these nutrients may not have any formal research studies carried out to prove their claims.
In fact, some supplements can be outright dangerous. A male enhancement product sold in Geylang promises that it uses only natural ingredients when it actually was corrupted with unregulated medicine.
Always get advice from your doctor or pharmacist about your male fertility supplements.
What PROfertil® can’t do
PROfertil® does not enhance sexual performance
PROfertil is a supplement developed to support healthy sperm formation. It does not help resolve issues with sexual performance.
Sexual performance issues often refer to the inability to perform during sexual intercourse.
Common conditions include erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.
It is important to understand that sexual performance issues do not equate to poor sperm health. In fact, you may still be able to produce healthy levels of quality sperm.
If you think you might have a problem performing in the bedroom, here at SIRE, we provide discreet online consultations, ensuring that your secret only stays with you, always.

PROfertil® is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle
Taking PROfertil® does not mean you can continue to binge on an unhealthy diet.
Strong associations between a healthy diet and male fertility have been seen in multiple studies. A healthy diet is often strongly advocated in couples planning to start a family.
On top of a healthy diet, quitting unhealthy habits like smoking and excessive alcohol intake have to be worked on together to provide the best environment for sperm to thrive.
Understanding Male Fertility
Male fertility often refers to the health of the sperm which can be checked simply with a sperm analysis. Home-based sperm analysis is available at SIRE.
It involves checking for sperm count, the way the sperm moves and the size and shape of the sperm. Some characteristics of the sperm play a more important role in male fertility.
What you can do to promote good sperm
The old adage “You are what You eat” is increasingly true as multiple reports and studies have evolved in recent years linking our diet to health and a good quality of life. Our diet and nutrition have been found to play an important role in male fertility.
Studies have found that men who ate a generally healthy diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, fish and chicken had higher total sperm counts compared with men who ate a diet high in red meat, fried foods, and sugar-sweetened drinks and desserts.
